ஆங்கில புத்தாண்டு நாள்
ஒவ்வொரு ஆங்கில ஆண்டின் முதல் நாள் புத்தாண்டு தினமாகும், இந்த நாள் உலகம் முழுவதும் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. புத்தாண்டு என்பது ஒரு புதிய காலண்டர் ஆண்டு தொடங்கும் நாளின் நேரம் மற்றும் காலண்டர் ஆண்டுகளின் எண்ணிக்கை ஒவ்வொன்றாக அதிகரிக்கும். பல கலாச்சாரங்கள் இந்த நிகழ்வை ஏதோ ஒரு வகையில் கொண்டாடுகின்றன. கிரிகோரியன் நாட்காட்டியில், இன்று மிகவும் பரவலாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் காலண்டர் முறை, புத்தாண்டு ஜனவரி 1 (புத்தாண்டு தினம்) அன்று வருகிறது. அசல் ஜூலியன் நாட்காட்டி மற்றும் ரோமன் நாட்காட்டியில் (கிமு 153க்குப் பிறகு) இது ஆண்டின் முதல் நாள்.
புத்தாண்டு தினத்தன்று விடுமுறை: ஆங்கிலப் புத்தாண்டு தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு தனியார் அலுவலகங்கள் உட்பட பெரும்பாலான மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசு அலுவலகங்களுக்கு 1.1.2022 அன்று மூடப்பட்ட விடுமுறை அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.
புத்தாண்டு தினத்தன்று தபால் அலுவலக விடுமுறை: தபால் நிலையங்கள் மத்திய அரசு கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ளதால், அந்தந்த மாநில கமிட்டி முடிவின் படி அணைத்து தபால் நிலையங்களும் மூடப்பட்டிருக்கும்.
