Defence Accounts Department (DAD) Guest Houses in India List
The Defence Accounts Department has observed a frequent movement of officers and staff to various stations on temporary duties and inspections, which has led to an increasing need for accommodation options. While the Department has relied on defence services for accommodating visiting officials, the defence services are unable to provide guest house/transit accommodation for visiting DAD Officers and Staff as per their requirement. To address this issue, the Department has undertaken the construction of Guest Houses and Transit Accommodation across India. As a welfare measure, the Department has established guest houses, transit accommodation, and holiday homes at 34 stations. These facilities are offered to serving and retired officers and staff of the Defence Accounts Department, DAD Officers and Staff on Deputation, and serving and retired officers and staff of other Central Government/State Government/PSUs.
