The State Bank of India (SBI Bank) operates various Holiday Homes throughout the country. These accommodations are strategically located in prominent cities and cater to both current and retired employees. The guidelines about these Holiday Homes were last revised in 2008. To streamline operations, consolidate resources, and enhance convenience for our employees, the existing guidelines and charges for the Holiday Homes have been reviewed and updated by the competent authority.

Eligibility criteria for staying at the Holiday Homes are as follows: serving employees can be accompanied by their spouse, son, daughter, or dependents listed in HRMS. Retired employees can be accompanied by their spouses and dependents, if any. The maximum duration of stay at the Holiday Homes is four days per booking. However, in exceptional circumstances where a longer stay is approved, the rental charges will be doubled. Additionally, each retired or serving employee is entitled to a maximum of 20 room days within a financial year.

SBI Holiday Home Payment Process

The payment process for SBI Holiday Home can be slightly confusing, based on the information available online. It has been observed that the official website (https://hrms.onlinesbi.com/) for the online booking process is not functioning optimally. The SBI holiday home offers affordable daily room rental rates for its guests. Specifically, SBI clerical staff members can enjoy a double bedroom rental for a fee of Rs. 50, while SBI officers will be charged Rs. 100 for the same accommodation.

How to Book SBI Holiday Home Offline?

Please complete the following application form for advance booking in an SBI holiday home. This form is intended for use by staff members of all categories who wish to utilize one or more Holiday Homes. Enter your full name, designation, telephone/fax number, email address, and date. Address your application to The Secretary, Circle Welfare Committee, State Bank of India, Local Head Office. Please read the rules and regulations before completing the application.

In your application, kindly request a room in the Bank’s Holiday-cum-convalescent Home located at ____________ for a specific period of ____ days between ___/___/20__ and ___/___/20__, or any available date. By signing this form, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Bank. You also agree to pay any outstanding dues owed and authorize the Bank to recover unpaid balances from your salary should you fail to do so. Finally, please provide details of any family members who will be accompanying you on your stay.

Once completed, forward your application for consideration by the Circle Welfare Committee and Local Implementation Committee at your State Bank of India Branch.

SBI Holiday Home Cancellation Policy

Penalty for Failure to Show up: The reservation system for our Holiday Homes allows bookings to be made up to 120 days in advance. It is important to note that employees who fail to cancel their bookings or do not show up on the reserved date will face disincentives in the form of penalties. The following penalties will be imposed in such cases:
– Cancellation made 1 day prior to the scheduled occupancy date will incur a penalty of Rs. 200/-
– Employees who do not show up on the date of occupancy will be charged a penalty of Rs. 500/-

Regarding the Holiday Home premises: New Holiday Homes will be established in renowned hotels through a tie-up arrangement with the Bank. The hotel management will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of these Holiday Homes. Therefore, neither the Bank nor its employees will be involved in their upkeep. Circles are instructed to assess the feasibility of relocating the existing Holiday Homes, which are currently situated in rented premises, to reputable hotels under a tie-up arrangement once the current contract expires.

To reserve a stay at an SBI holiday home using the internet, navigate to the official website of hrms.onlinesbi.com. There you may select your preferred lodging and book it online, or fill out the application form provided at this link. After submitting the form, please hand it over to the Local Implementation Committee for further processing.

How to book SBI holiday home offline?

To book an SBI Holiday Home offline, complete the application form with your details and desired dates of stay. Address the application to the Secretary, Circle Welfare Committee, State Bank of India, and Local Head Office. Read and agree to the rules and regulations, and include the details of any accompanying family members. Forward the completed application to the Circle Welfare Committee and Local Implementation Committee at your SBI Branch for consideration.

What is revised room rent of SBI holiday home?

The charges for utilizing the cottage/rooms in the holiday homes operated by the State Bank of India (SBI) will be revised starting from September 1, 2022. As per the decision, a per diem rent will be levied at the newly adjusted rates. The proposed rates for the holiday homes are as follows: Revised Rent Rates effective from September 1, 2022:
