According to an official circular released by the Reserve Bank of India on 25th January 2022, the Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank has undergone a merger with Unity Small Finance Bank Ltd. As a result, all the existing branches of PMC Bank will now operate as branches of Unity Small Finance Bank Ltd. This merger aims to enhance the services and offerings provided to customers, ensuring a seamless transition and uninterrupted access to banking facilities.
