There is a likelihood of rainfall, with heavy falls in some areas, over south Peninsular India starting from December 8th. A well-marked low-pressure area has weakened into a low-pressure area over Northeast Telangana, south Chhattisgarh, south Interior Odisha, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Associated cyclonic circulations are present over south Chhattisgarh and adjoining Vidarbha. A western disturbance is also present over Haryana and neighboring areas, with a trough aloft. Another cyclonic circulation is observed over the southeast Arabian Sea. A fresh western disturbance is expected to affect Northwest India from December 11th.
