Central Govt Office Holidays in Tamil Nadu 2025
The Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC) releases an annual list of holidays for central government offices in Tamil Nadu. This list is published after the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issues a detailed holiday schedule, including terms and conditions, in June each year. Post Office Holidays in Tamil Nadu 2025

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released its holiday list every year. The list includes holidays for schools located in various cities such as Agra, Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gurugram, Guwahati, Jaipur, Patna, Kolkata, Ranchi, Silchar, Tinsukia, Varanasi, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhuvneshwar, and Bhopal. The KVS holiday calendar can be downloaded in PDF format along with the summer, autumn, winter vacation breaks for all Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. Currently, there are about 51 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Tamil Nadu Chennai region with a total of 72621 students and more than 3802 teaching and non-teaching staff. The KVS schools are divided among 25 regions with each region being supervised by a deputy commissioner. Tamil Nadu Holiday Home List 2025
The concept of Holiday Homes exists in various sectors including Government, PSU and Bank. This facility is provided to existing and retired employees, allowing them to stay with or without their family members for a minimum number of days while on leave or duty. An official record of employees or pensioners with their family members must be maintained, and advance booking is required for a maximum stay of 4 days in the Holiday Home. These homes are built or leased across India, with a particular focus on tourist places and metropolitan cities. The rental charges for the Holiday Homes are very reasonable, for instance, a suite consisting of 2 bedrooms with AC is available for Rs.200 per day. All necessary facilities such as a restaurant and parking are available at the Holiday Homes.
