SBI Bank Holidays 2024 in India PDF Download
SBI, the State Bank of India, is a well-established public sector bank in India that has an extensive network of branches spanning the country. 2nd and 4th Saturdays Bank Holidays
As a result of recent developments in wage revision negotiations between the Bank Employees Union and the Indian Banks Association (IBA), the 12th Bipartite Settlement Agreement has been signed. One important factor of this settlement is that all Saturdays should be designated as holidays for banks. The proposal has been sent to the Central government and there is a possibility that it will be accepted by the Union Cabinet Committee. If approved, all Saturdays will remain closed and declared as holidays in the future, providing bank employees with additional time for rest and leisure. This decision aims to improve work-life balance and overall well-being for those in the banking industry.
4 or 5 Saturdays in a Month
In December 2023, a time when the holiday spirit is in full swing, there are an incredible five Saturdays to enjoy and make the most of. These Saturdays, falling on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, offer a rare opportunity to fully embrace the weekend and all it has to offer. However, it is important to note that among these five Saturdays, two of them, specifically the 9th and the 23rd, will be closed holidays for hardworking bank employees who deserve a well-earned break. Rest assured, though, that the remaining Saturdays will operate under normal business hours, catering to the needs and transactions of customers with efficiency and care.
